Food and snacks, make me FAT!
Singapore is a well-known "Mei Shi Tian Tang"(Food Galore) and it's not surprising seeing groups of people out there food-hunting. I'm no exception.
The last time i went food-hunting with friends was on last Saturday and it's in Toa Payoh. Well i can say that Toa Payoh really has lots of nice food if you take the effort to hunt them down and now i will not go into the details.
Speaking of food, i've been cutting down on the frequencies of my food-hunt lately due to a build-up of "spare-tire"(tummy) and i believe many people out there have been trying to resist the temptations of the good food. And thinking how am i going to reduce my NS "sufferings" in time to come.
Snacks is another killer here. Life in office never gets away from snacks especially either when u have tonnes of work to do or when u have nothing better to do.
The pix i've taken below shows my daily snacks. Drink is dependant on my preference whereas biscuit is dependant on the pantry aunty's preference on weekly basis. Normally when u get a plain biscuit, you can conclude that she might be having a PMS(dunno whether she can PMS anot..) or she might be buey song(not happy) or whatsoever. Sounds crappy but quite true la..
Below are some of the pix that i've taken during dinner last night at Patara. It's a very classy restaurant and the Tom Yam soup ROX!!!
And in my last post i did mention about wolfberry drink right? Here's the pix..
Speaking of tea, yesterday i received a free Lipton sample at one of the exits of City Hall MRT Station.
Wah...Tie Guan Yin(Iron Buddha) leh..that's the two new varieties that Lipton is introducing. However when i opened up the gift, there was only a packet of Jasmine tea bag. I've already gotten that twice!! and never had any luck in getting the Iron Buddha tea bag. Well i'm just curious how Tie Guan Yin taste like, maybe i could get enlightenment after drinking it?? crap LA...
Lunch break over liao...here's a post on singlish by Mr Brown, as well as Kenny Sia's post on Sing Blog Con
