Amazing Race, the singapore version

Today is supposed to be a leadership activity which i guessed would be held in the multi-purpose hall like any other boring lesson. It has turned out unexpectedly something more appealing! I'll just cut it real short.

In the morning, our groups of 4 mixed into groups of 2 and we got our Ops order the very first thing after we took our Rappelling theory test. Our team leader briefed us on some of the things that we might be doing later on like where to go, what to do, blah blah..

Our team of 12 set off by foot to the gate where we took a shuttle bus catered personally by one of us, to Raffle City where we made a transaction at a given time. Of course we need evidence that we have visited the place at the given time, with a digicam with all our faces in the pix and the ATM machine, thanks to a passer-by who took picture for us. That was our first mission. Easy rite? after that we have to go a 7-11 somewhere 300m away and purchase something at a given time yet again with recipe. Then we got back to the ATM again for one last transaction before proceeding on to buy a 1kg banana somewhere before moving on to our next checkpoint which is somewhere along east coast park. i find those transactions very LAME! but fun la.

we made our way there with means of public transports. Then from there, we made a run all the way to bedok jetty where we asked a cute roller-blader girl to help take a photo. Then we ran to our next checkpoint which is the lagoon where we took another picture. After that we need to go to Full Moon something something where we approached 2 really GORGEOUS babes help take photo. By that time, we received an order that we must be at Mac Donalds in 4 mins!!!!!! WE WERE ABOUT TO TAKE THEIR NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!! we then sprint to the destination which is estimated to be 1km away!!!! 1km in 4mins??!?!?!? THAT'S FAST!!! WITH THOSE BLOODY LOADS ON!!!! from there, we were to go by the underpass to the other side and clear a low-wall which is a stretch of red wall, really low. THAT'S LAME!!!! We then moved on to a playground nearby where the other team were resting. They have completed their mission!!! cheaters!!! they were smart enuff to take Taxi. We're not that stupid either to spend that kinda money on this game. *roar* We did our forfeit: 3 rounds of pebble walking barefooted. SHIOK! I MISSED THOSE 2 GIRLS!!!! ARGH!!! After that, we had a debrief before ending the session. Then we went play pool, then powling, then Chomp Chomp, then home.

FYI, during the missions, the exact mission differs alot from the actual one because they pusposely want us to adapt to changes. So the aim of this game is to let us adapt to changes and also a test of our leadership capabalities. Well done guys! Pics to come in next issue. ^^
